Covers structural defects in the gunite shell and plumbing caused by workmanship — the parts of the build only we control. Terms are provided in writing with your contract.
PebbleTec Finish Warranty
As a PebbleTec Elite Builder, we pass through PebbleTec's own manufacturer warranty on your finish, covering material defects in the aggregate surface.
Equipment Warranty
Pentair and Jandy pumps, filters, heaters, and automation carry their own manufacturer warranties — we help you register equipment and coordinate service.
What can void or limit a warranty.
Warranties protect against defects in materials and workmanship — not against normal wear or missed maintenance. Keeping basic water chemistry balanced and following recommended service schedules is the simplest way to protect your coverage.
Improperly balanced water can etch or stain a finish — damage not covered by the finish warranty.
Modifications or repairs by a third party can void the workmanship or equipment warranty on that component.
Skipping recommended service on pumps, heaters, or automation can limit equipment manufacturer coverage.
Severe weather events or ground movement unrelated to the pool's construction fall outside standard coverage.

What warranty comes with a J. Oliver Pools build?+
Every new build is backed by our structural workmanship warranty covering the gunite shell and plumbing, plus manufacturer warranties passed through on PebbleTec finishes and Pentair/Jandy equipment. Exact terms and coverage periods are provided in writing with your contract.
What does the workmanship warranty cover?+
It covers structural defects in the gunite shell and plumbing that result from workmanship, not from normal wear, chemical imbalance, or lack of maintenance. Cosmetic finish issues are covered under the PebbleTec manufacturer warranty rather than the workmanship warranty.
Are the pump, heater, and automation equipment covered?+
Yes, through their manufacturer warranties. Pentair and Jandy equipment carries its own manufacturer warranty terms, which J. Oliver Pools helps you register and, when needed, helps coordinate service through authorized channels.
What voids or limits the warranty?+
Improper chemical balance, neglecting recommended maintenance, unauthorized repairs or modifications by a third party, and damage from external causes (severe weather events, structural movement unrelated to the pool, etc.) can limit or void warranty coverage. Keeping up with basic water chemistry and equipment maintenance protects your coverage.
